Ngatamariki Geothermal Power Station (Planned)

Mighty River Power. has approval to develop the Ngatamariki Geothermal Power Station. It is to be located approximately 17 kilometres north east of Taupo.

The 82 MW power station is expected to be operational by 2015 at the earliest.
