Greening the Existing Building Stock

September 3, 2010toSeptember 4, 2010

How can we meet the challenge of transforming our existing buildings for a sustainable Australia?

While new buildings are becoming increasingly energy and water efficient, the overwhelming majority of existing buildings in Australia were built without any consideration for sustainability. The improvement of their performance plays a crucial part in the nation’s efforts for climate change mitigation and adaptation.

The transformation of the existing building stock is regarded as the biggest challenge facing owners, government and the building industry today.

The Green Building and Design Conference 2010 will provide you with the inspiration and guidance to successfully transform the existing building stock to meet sustainability criteria.

Site visits, presentations and discussions will illustrate how theory has been put into practice and how practice can be used to refine theory.

All-Energy Australia 2010

October 6, 2010toOctober 7, 2010

The All-Energy Australia exhibition and conference is Australia’s most significant International clean energy event. Admission to the exhibition and conference is free of charge to all with a professional interest in renewable/sustainable/clean energy.

The 2010 conference programme will feature multiple streams focused on key technologies, and highly relevant and topical plenary sessions.

The show offers extensive networking opportunities.

The exhibition is highly relevant to all companies actively involved, either directly or indirectly, in the development of carbon mitigation solutions for traditional energy sources, including carbon capture and sequestration, energy efficiency improvements as well as all areas of the renewable energy industry – wind (onshore and offshore), wave, tidal, hydro, hydrogen and fuel cells, solar and biofuels.

Exhibiting companies come from both sides of the ‘buying/selling fence’. For companies eager to become involved in the clean energy industry – take a look at the exhibitor profile section to see what is needed by the wind industry alone – a long, long list!
