Carbon Capture and Storage Symposium
| October 19, 2010 | to | October 20, 2010 |
With a low carbon future an imperative for Governments globally, the Australian Federal Government is placing renewed emphasis on the development and deployment of low emissions technologies with its $5.1 billion Clean Energy Initiative and the establishment of the Renewable Energy Future Fund.
Whilst billions of dollars are being invested, proving the commercial viability of CCS projects is still a major stumbling block in progressing the research and development that is being undertaken.
Carbon Capture and Storage 2010 has been designed to bring together senior level policy makers from State & Federal Government with senior executives from generators, oil and gas companies, investors and technology consultations and solutions providers to discuss key challenges and formulate solutions to transition Australia into a low carbon economy.
Scheduled for the 19 & 20 of October 2010 in Brisbane, the 2 Day Conference will feature Case Studies of local initiatives and global best practice to establishes a concise business case and underpin the design and scope to help commercialise Carbon Capture and Storage.
